WAIT NO MORE

back in july i had the pleasure of modeling for the beautiful sheridan french and her 2013 s/s collection. until now we've had to keep a secret about the pretty colors, prints and styles.      the pictures are up and they are too pretty not to share!

if you know me and read this post, you would know i stepped out of my comfort zone to do this.. but i can honestly say i had a blast! 

i met some amazing ladies and even came home with a few new friends!!

when the sunsets and God paints a pretty picture // how can you not stop and take it in?!

in dallas when the sunsets theres an additional bonus...the temperatures drop when the sun drops too! i captured this beauty right before dinner with friends last night //

EVERYDAY

everyday i pass this bike and shed and think nothing of it. today with the sunlight just right, it caught my eye...this simple everyday sight looked particularly pretty.

is there something you pass by everyday and forget to notice its loveliness?!

CLASSROOM CUTENESS

the 'little miss lane' is a first grade teacher and has the cutest room ever! before her kiddos find their new desk and chair next week, i went to visit her classroom to help with the little things... like tying bows, decorating calendars and finding storage solutions for the trim, boarders, charts, oh my!

i took a picture of a cute little note she has at her desk from a student last year:

the fish tank is a new addition to the room.
meet 'squirt' and 'dori'. 
friends of ours have a 3 year old and each month they take on a service project to help someone else. last month it was a police officer, this month it was a teacher! the idea behind the project is to teach their little man about helping others- so cute!

proud of my little sister and the love she has for her job.
those new little first graders sure are lucky!
