strong is the new skinny

this month i will be checking off a little box on my bucket list... 
becoming a yoga instructor!

training starts this month. and to be prepared, i am dedicating more time per week to strengthen my practice and focus on the little things. like the headstand. 
having a strong base and starting without a wall to 'cheat' with was important to me...
 so my dear friend and amazing yoga/pilates instructor ms brittany was kind enough to teach me the foundation this past weekend...  thanks to her (and a few core muscles!!) i was upside-down in no time!
