well hello there october, where did you come from?!

sure wish it actually felt like october around here... at least sp and i will feel the fall on our faces this weekend while in oklahoma. seems like there, the winds change sooner and the temperatures drop quicker than in texas. 

but in the spirit of october, it time to set pumpkins on your front porch, plant fall flowers and start switching summer decorations for a more cozy fall feeling around the house.

other things to look forward to this month:
warm chai tea lattes
snuggling up under cozy blankets
breaking out the booties and boots
wearing layers and pretty scarves 
halloween is not my favorite, but if it was i would make this
i will be making a similar wreath for the front door to celebrate fall
oh and a fun fact: there are some really great fall sales going on now:

things to not look forward to this month (and the fall & winter months ahead... )
dry skin and not so happy nails
but julep has some great products for that very reason!
i cant wait to try the 'night shift' mask and 'luxe lip' -- my skin dehydrates super quickly when the humidity leaves the air and the heaters are turned on.
