feels kinda strange picking a favorite photo of just myself, so i tried to pick one that has a lot of meaning to me personally.
this past january i finished my yoga teacher training (RYS 200). it was a personal goal i set. i saved the money (setting a little aside every month so it would be more meaningful). and i dedicated the six months of the training (we met every other weekend for 12 hours) to my personal yoga practice. i was in the studio 5 or 6 days a week and i loved every minute of it.
the last big goal i had set in my life was to attend and complete college in four years. (this may not seem like a big deal to many, but i was the first in my family to do so.)
so here's why this picture means a lot to me. it was taken the last day of our training, and i was extremely proud of myself and our group for becoming newbie yoga teachers. to me this picture and moment represents devotion, commitment and love to my yoga practice.
This is a beautiful photo and I understand the meaning behind it. Congratulations on getting your certification you earned it! Also, congrats on getting your 4-year! I was the first in my family to get a college degree and it is most DEFINITELY a big deal.
